Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead. 10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; 11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus. (John 12:9-11).
In Chapter 11 Lazarus became sick and died. Jesus who is the Resurrection and Life, raised Lazarus from the Dead after he had been dead for 4 days and stinking. (Ref. Read John chapter 11:1-45).
There are two types of people: they who receive and believe on Jesus or those who don’t and reject him.
Nothing so enrages the adversaries of Jesus Christ as the enlargement of his kingdom and the sight of the number of believers daily increasing. This provokes the devil’s wrath, and demons rage.
The enemy wants to demolish the initial evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. If People don’t receive the Holy Ghost they don’t have any power to be witnesses of Jesus Christ. This power is not only to proclaim with our mouths the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Kingdom but also the power to Worship God in your lifestyle in the beauty of holiness. After the initial evidence, there is a second evidence that follows, the fruit of the Spirit, the second validates the first but the first is to be expected by Grace through faith according to the Scriptures.
Three scriptures that seem to validate the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
Acts 2:4- And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.
Acts 10:45-46 (And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Paul in Acts 19:5-6 (When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
This fourth one just let us know that those who believe speak with new tongues.
Mark 16 and these signs shall follow them that believe in my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. Jesus said those that believe will speak with new tongues.
As Christians, we are to be lights of the world and the salt of the earth. The enemy; the devil will do everything he can to keep us from bringing glory to Jesus Christ. We need to impact our communities, jobs, families for the Kingdom of God, where people can see our good works and glorify our Father which is in heaven.
The devil wants to destroy the evidence or the testimony of the Work of Jesus Christ in our life through sin (lying, gossip, anger, cussing, pornography, drunkenness and others) fulfilling the lust of the flesh, eyes etc. Therefore, by Grace through Faith we need to Confess and Repent quickly as possible, and receive God’s forgiveness, get back on the paths of Holiness so we don’t let the enemies cause us to hinder someone from Seeing Jesus Christ through us.
We should not give place to the devil. Don’t let him get a foothold or stronghold in your mind, or your attitude. Attitude is very, very important.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Rev. 12:11).
They trusted and had Faith in Jesus Christ's blood that was shed for the forgiveness of sin and to reconcile us unto God in salvation. Therefore, the accuser of the brethren-the devil have nothing to stand on against them or us, when the Blood of Jesus is applied. It is because of what Jesus done, they have a testimony. He delivered us from the bondage and penalty of sin, by Grace through Faith: we repented Got water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. We were born again to see and enter the Kingdom of God.
(Notice in John 12:42-43: Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.) (Compare these believers and the Christians in Rev. 12:11).
The ones in Rev. 12:11. They were faithful and devoted to Jesus Christ even in a world engulfed by demons they were faithful no matter what was going on around them, no matter how consumed the world was with the lust of the eye, the flesh and the pride of life. No matter how others was caught up in the flesh, the devil and the world by the Grace of God they stayed faithful to God. When they sinned, they did not waddle in it but confessed and repented and got up by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ. He that endureth to the end shall be saved we are overcomers; we are more than conquerors through God that loves us.
He took some of us out of the pimp house to the church house. He took us out of the gutter most and took us to the utter most. He took us out of loss and dead situations. We were hopeless, down in the dumps, low as low could be. Like Lazarus he was dead and began to stink. We were so filthy and dead in trespasses and sins and unclean and unattractive to many according to society’s standards. “But” God who was rich in mercy quicken us alive when we were born again.
The resurrection and life raised him (Lazarus) from that hopeless place, told them to loose him and let him go. Jesus said Lazarus come forth. Notice In John chapter 12 verse 2 we see Lazarus siting at the table with Jesus. My God! before he was in a tomb and now, he eating at the table with the King. He was numbered with the dead and lifeless but now he is sitting with the eternal life- Jesus.
Now we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ Jesus. To the praise of the glory of His Grace wherein he made us accepted in the Beloved. We are adopted into the family of God. We are sons of God in Christ Jesus. Thank You, Lord. Kingdom Christians, we are not ashamed to let the world know and we declare War against the enemy by the Holy Ghost, the Word of God, Prayer, Praise and Worship unto God in the name of Jesus Christ.
“The Kingdom of God is basically the rule of God. It is
God’s reign, the divine sovereignty in action. God’s reign, however, is
manifested in several realms, and the Gospels speak of entering into the
Kingdom of God both today and tomorrow. God’s reign manifests itself both in
the future and in the present and thereby creates both a future realm and a
present realm in which men may experience the blessings of His reign. The
Kingdom of God is, then, the realization of God’s will and the enjoyment of the
accompanying blessings. However, it is a clear teaching of the New Testament
that God’s will is not to be perfectly realized in this age. Central in
Biblical Theology is the doctrine of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.” – Dr.
George E. Ladd
You must be born again to see and enter the Kingdom of God
(ref. John 3:3-5). A sinner must believe that Jesus Christ the Son of God (God manifested in the Flesh- an Authentic Man without sin), the
Lamb of God shed his blood died on the Cross for our Sins and the Sin of the World, was Buried and
Resurrected from the Dead the Third day for our justification. Then they are to
Receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by Grace through Faith: Repent,
get water baptized (immersion) in the name of Jesus Christ (invoked) for the remission of sins and
receive the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of Speaking in tongues as the
Spirit gives the Utterance. Then live a Live full of and led by the Holy Ghost
and the Word of God – the Bible. (Ref. Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians
2:8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 10:45-46a and others)
For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Ref. Romans 14:17)
Kingdom Christians we are to implement the Kingdom of God in
everyday life, we are to bear forth the Fruits of the Kingdom of God and the
Fruit of the Spirit (cf. Matthew 21:43 - Jesus speaking to the religious leaders of Israel; Gal. 5:22-24). This is only done through abiding in Jesus
Christ and Jesus Christ abiding in us. This is to abide in His words and His
words abide in us- {I believe this is by way of the Holy Ghost, the Word of God- the Bible,
Praise, Worship, Prayer and Fellowship with other Kingdom Christians}.
Kingdom Christians: We are to submit
to God's glory reflecting in us, through us and out from us to the world liked
angled mirrors. We are God's image bearers. We are by Grace through Faith via
the Holy Ghost in the name of our Lord, Savior and King Jesus Christ reflect
out to the world: Love, the Truth, Justice, Forgiveness, Holiness,
Righteousness, Faith in God, Creativity and the Glory and Praises back unto
God.
